The Parenting Assessors Roster Society

Admin@BCParentingAssessors.ca

PARS members live and work throughout what is now known as British Columbia, on the lands and waters of many distinct First Nations. These include territories subject to historic and modern treaties, as well as many territories where First Nations title has not been ceded. We recognize the enduring relationships First Nations have with these lands and waters, and the ongoing effects of colonialism on Indigenous children, families, and communities.

In our work with families, PARS commits to cultural humility, continued learning, and respect for the rights, laws, knowledge, and self-determination of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples. When we gather in person, we will name and acknowledge the host Nation or Nations.
