Our story and purpose.
PARS began as a collaboration among British Columbia psychologists who saw the value of a professional community for parenting assessors and a clearer way to locate practitioners.
Today, the Society supports responsible, child-focused practice through its roster, professional learning, and public information. PARS does not participate in individual assessments or direct members’ professional opinions.
Finding an assessor through PARS.
The roster is a starting point for finding an assessor. Suitability depends on the assessment required and the professional’s experience, services, and availability.
Members remain responsible for their professional work. Confirm current registration and discuss the proposed assessment directly with the assessor.
