Looking for an assessor?

Use the CommunityBox directory to review member profiles and contact assessors directly. PARS cannot match a family with an assessor, provide fee quotations, confirm availability, or advise which member is best suited to a particular case.

Raising a concern

If your concern relates to roster participation or a PARS policy, contact the Society with a short description of the issue. PARS will first determine whether the matter falls within its limited role.

PARS is not a professional regulator. It cannot change an assessment report, intervene in an ongoing proceeding, pause a court deadline, award compensation, determine professional misconduct or negligence, or decide whether a court should rely on an assessor’s opinion.

Disagreement with a report or questions about an ongoing court matter should be discussed with a lawyer or addressed through the appropriate legal process.

Submitting a concern to PARS does not begin a regulatory investigation, change a report, pause a court deadline, or affect an ongoing proceeding.

Before sending information

Provide only enough information for PARS to understand the general nature of the enquiry. Do not upload or email an assessment report, clinical record, affidavit, court order, or other confidential document unless PARS has requested it and provided an appropriate secure submission method.

PARS cannot promise that information submitted about a member will remain confidential. Information may need to be shared to understand or respond fairly to the concern, subject to the Society’s applicable policies and legal obligations.

Urgent situations

PARS is not an emergency, crisis, child-protection, or legal service. If someone is in immediate danger, contact 911 or the appropriate emergency service. Obtain timely legal advice if a court date or filing deadline may be affected.
