In addition to fostering a supportive, collegial environment for parenting assessors, we are here to address any concerns that may arise regarding the work of our members. Our Mission

1. To promote the best interests of children by evaluating the safest and healthiest possible parenting arrangement for children.

2. To promote accurate, empirically based, and usable assessment reports for the Courts and other decision-makers.

3. To promote best practices in the methodology used to collect parenting information.

4. Establishing a roster of professionals who meet high standards that the public can use to inform themselves about who is available to conduct a parenting assessment.

5. To provide a forum for roster members to remain current in their professional development.

6. To promote a collegial working relationship among parenting assessors.

7. To address concerns raised by clients about work completed by members of the roster.
